Device not working? 

 

If you are having difficulty resetting your iPad, and it still has the black and blue backdrop on it saying it will reset, please follow these instructions to manually reboot try this:

 

1) Get really close to your wi-fi router and open settings.

 

2) Make sure you sign out of the Apple ID at the top left.

 

3) Go to GENERAL > RESET > ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS.

 

4) When it restarts follow the 6 steps on this document:

Need to find your RISD log on info?  Try this:

 

 

1) Go to your FOCUS account and under your child's name there will be a number. https://focus.risd.org/focus/index.php

 

2) Your child's email will be the first letter of their first and last name, then that number and @g.risd.org

example: Joe Smith- js123456@g.risd.org

 

3) The password should be risdmpe1 (if not 1 then try any number 1-6).  Your child might know this if you remind them with this hint.  If that doesn't work then try risd12345
