  7. All-School Spring Picnic with In and Out Burger
  8. Field Day
  9. Organized and sponsored a free carnival for all MPE families.
  10. Held a special breakfasts for our MPE’s Grand Friends and celebrated MPE alums
  11. Participated in the North Texas Day of Giving
  12. Organized annual #mpeserves - Families picked from different community service
  13. projects based in Lake Highlands (Reversing Hunger canned food roundup, Treats for Thurgood Marshall, MPE 101 session at an apartment complex, and MPE OLC cleanup)
  14. Increased participation and support for all school competitions including: Destination Imagination, Invention Convention, Science Fair, Lone Star Challenge, Noetic Math and Spelling Bee through financial assistance and parent coaching; additional support for our 5th and 6th grade DI teams at the State Competition and our 5th Grade DI team in Global Competition.
  15. Organized After School programs including: Mad Science, Spanish classes, Chess Club program; launched Underground University, an evening enrichment program on Python Coding, Stop Video Animation, Codes and Ciphers, and History of Invention
  16. Coordinated 2 Training programs for all MPE teachers and Staff on Gifted Education
  17. Participated in the Reflections Art Program and two of our students qualified for state

Snacks for teachers at staff meeting
Provided turkeys for our cafeteria and custodial staff
Hosted a Senior Breakfast for MPE 2016 High School graduates
Awarded two college scholarships to former MPE graduating Seniors at LHHS

-  Teacher Appreciation Board:
 Provided monthly lunches for the teachers
Provided the Staff Dinners on Meet The Teacher Night and Open House Night
Put on Over the Top Teacher Appreciation Week for our fabulous staff in May

-  MPE Dad's Cub:
Ran morning carpool line EVERY morning
Served as hall greeters and tutors in the morning
Helped during lunch
Washed teacher's cars
